The 2023 Martin J-40 pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides in jumbo body shape. Built with forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing and a 25.4-inch scale length, it combines the tight-waisted comfort of a 0000 shape with the low-end depth, volume, and complex overtones of a full-size jumbo.

The genuine mahogany neck features a satin finish, a Modified Low Oval profile with a High Performance Taper, and a 1-3/4 inch bone nut. Appointments include a bound ebony fingerboard with abalone reduced-hexagon inlays, an abalone rosette, multi-stripe binding, and gold open-gear tuners. Includes the original Martin hardshell case.

Overall condition is mint with almost no signs of use. Also comes fitted with a K&K Sound Pure mini pickup.
