2019 Taylor 612ce 12-Fret Grand Concert - Natural

This 2019 Taylor 612ce 12-Fret Grand Concert showcases the total modern re-voicing of Taylor’s maple 600 Series. Built with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top and a solid Big Leaf maple body, it shifts away from the traditionally bright maple tone toward a remarkably warm, mature voice with excellent sustain. The "Brown Sugar" hand-rubbed stain on the back and sides enhances the beautiful wood grain while keeping the finish exceptionally thin for better top resonance.

The 12-fret design moves the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout, giving this compact guitar a surprisingly fat, punchy midrange that works brilliantly for fingerstyle and light strumming. Coupled with a slightly shorter 24-7/8" scale length and a traditional slotted headstock, the string tension feels slinky and relaxed under the fingers. Equipped with the Expression System 2 electronics and V-Class bracing, it’s a beautifully focused acoustic that sounds natural whether mic'd up or plugged straight into a PA. It includes its original deluxe hardshell case.
