2017 Gibson Memphis '58 ES-335TD Dot Reissue VOS - Sunburst

Crafted at the Gibson Memphis facility, this 2017 '1958' ES-335 Reissue VOS faithfully replicates the original specifications of the legendary semi-hollowbody's inaugural production year. It features a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple top, back, and sides paired with a solid maple centerblock and quartersawn Adirondack spruce bracing fitted using hot hide glue.

The set mahogany neck features a thick '58 profile and an unbound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. Electronics include a pair of unpotted Gibson Memphis Historic Spec (MHS) humbuckers, wired to CTS pots and Bumblebee capacitors. The VOS nickel hardware includes a no-wire ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum stopbar, and single-line Kluson tuners. Includes the original Gibson Memphis brown hardshell case (paperwork/COA not included).

Overall condition of this guitar is excellent. There is minimal sign of wear and use, other than some very light and extremely small dents on the neck (see photos). All electronics function perfectly and sound so rich, warm and well balanced.
