2003 Gibson Historic Collection '1958' J-200 – Vintage Sunburst

This 2003 Gibson J-200 is part of the respected Historic Collection, built to original 1958 specifications at Gibson’s Bozeman, Montana facility. Known as the "King of the Flat-Tops," it features a solid AAA Sitka spruce top paired with beautifully figured flame maple back and sides. The massive 17-inch Super Jumbo body gives the guitar an iconic, room-filling sound with a punchy bass response and excellent note separation.

True to its late-'50s lineage, the guitar features the distinctive four-bar mustache bridge, graduated mother-of-pearl crown fretboard inlays, and a gold-engraved tortoise pickguard. Finished in a rich, deep Vintage Sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer, it is an exceptional example of Gibson's premier acoustic. Includes its original Gibson "Tone-Feel-Appearance" hardshell case.
