This 2011 PRS Custom 24 is a high-grade Core model featuring a massive 10 Top maple cap in the deep Black Gold finish. This was a standout year for PRS, marking the introduction of the V12 finish—a super-thin hybrid designed to let the wood resonate like a vintage nitro guitar while providing modern protection. It’s spec'd with the Pattern Thin neck profile, which offers a fast, ergonomic feel that works perfectly for the full 24-fret range.

The guitar is loaded with the original 59/09 humbuckers, which are voiced to sit somewhere between a traditional PAF and a more modern high-output pickup. They provide plenty of harmonic richness and a punchy midrange that cuts through a mix without getting harsh. Paired with Phase III locking tuners and the 5-way blade switch for those notched single-coil tones, this is a versatile, professional-level instrument in one of the best aesthetics PRS has ever produced.
