2011 Gibson Custom Shop '59 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R9) - Cabernet Burst

Built by the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, this 2011 '1959' Les Paul Standard Reissue (R9) features a highly figured flame maple top over an un-chambered, lightweight mahogany body. It is finished in Cabernet Burst, an exceptionally rare Gibson finish featuring a rich, deep wine red perimeter fading into a vibrant golden amber center.

The solid mahogany neck features a long neck tenon, period-correct '59 profile, and a rosewood fingerboard with cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays. Electronics feature factory Gibson humbuckers (Burstbucker 1 in the neck and Burstbucker 2 in the bridge) wired to CTS pots and bumblebee capacitors. Hardware includes an ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminum stopbar, and vintage-style Gibson deluxe tuners. Includes the original Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and Certificate of Authenticity.

Overall condition of this guitar is mint, There are tiny surface scratches from polishing but no clear signs of play or wear. The guitar play amazing and sounds excellent.
